31 Days Through the Book of Proverbs

Take the “31 Days Through the Book of Proverbs” Challenge and read one chapter each day of the month. Proverbs is known as the book of wisdom. We want to be a wise church.

Proverbs may be the greatest book ever written on cause and effect. When you think about cause and effect daily, you will become wiser in your decision making. Most people do not think of consequences and live like there are no consequences. That is the opposite of wisdom.

Scripture has the ability to make you wise as you work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. (Philippians 2:12-13).

Read one chapter a few times each day, asking and expecting God to highlight one verse from your reading. Then pray it, journal it, memorize it, and share it.

Below are short teachings from Pastor Chris from each chapter in Proverbs to go along with your own reading and study.
